Several members of our community from Mumbai, who had traveled to Pahalgam, Kashmir, were stranded due to a sudden terrorist attack, which led to the suspension of all transportaytion services and strict travel restrictions.
Dr. Salma Khan, the Founder of Kinnar Maa Trust, acted swiftly and demonstrated exemplary leadership by coordinating immediate assistance. She arranged flight tickets for the stranded individuals, engaged directly with key government authorities, and worked closely with the Maharashtra government to secure necessary permissions and facilitate their safe and timely return to Mumbai.
Her prompt intervention not only ensured the safety of our community members but also highlighted the critical role of effective crisis management and strong advocacy in times of emergency.
