Kinnar Maa Trust began its journey in 2010 and was officially registered in 2014. For nearly two decades, it has been at the forefront of advocating for the rights and well-being of the transgender and Hijra communities across India.

A trailblazer in the movement, Kinnar Maa Trust was the first organization to launch the Pink Rally in Mumbai in 2013—a landmark event highlighting the struggles and rights of transgender individuals.

With a strong focus on key areas such as healthcare, education, and employment, the Trust continues to work relentlessly to secure affirmative action and reservation for the transgender community in both government and public sectors.
